By way of completing the NASIG 2022 Annual Conference registration form:

  • I acknowledge the contagious nature of the Coronavirus/COVID-19 and that the CDC and many other public health authorities still recommend practicing social distancing.
  • I further acknowledge that NASIG has put in place preventative measures to reduce the spread of the Coronavirus/COVID-19.
  • I further acknowledge that NASIG cannot guarantee that I will not become infected with the Coronavirus/Covid-19. I understand that the risk of becoming exposed to and/or infected by the Coronavirus/COVID-19 may result from the actions, omissions, or negligence of myself and others, including, but not limited to, hotel staff, and other hotel guests.
  • I acknowledge that by attending the NASIG 2022 Annual Conference I am increasing my risk to exposure to the Coronavirus/COVID-19. I acknowledge that I must comply with all set procedures to reduce the spread while attending the conference and all conference events.
  • I hereby release and agree to hold NASIG harmless from, and waive on behalf of myself, my heirs, and any personal representatives any and all causes of action, claims, demands, damages, costs, expenses and compensation for damage or loss to myself and/or property that may be caused by any act, or failure to act of NASIG, or that may otherwise arise in any way in connection to the NASIG 2022 Annual Conference. I understand that this release discharges NASIG from any liability or claim that I, my dependents, my heirs, or any personal representatives may have against the organization with respect to any bodily injury, illness, death, medical treatment, or property damage that may arise from, or in connection to NASIG or the NASIG 2022 Annual Conference. This liability waiver and release extends to all NASIG officers and volunteers.

COVID Protocol

In order to make this a safe and welcoming experience for all, please plan ahead and familiarize yourself with what you need to do before coming to Baltimore. Attendees will be required to show proof of full vaccination (booster not required) or proof of a negative COVID test taken within 72 hours prior to conference check-in. Anyone who does not show proof of vaccination or negative test results will be refused their registration. Masks are strongly recommended throughout the conference.

Acceptable proof includes:

  • COVID card.

  • Picture of your COVID card.

  • An official website or app that shows the person’s name and vaccination status. This could be a local state, government, or medical account or registry.

  • Official documentation showing a negative COVID test result dated within 72 hours. The type of test (antigen vs. PCR) doesn’t matter, but it must be from a site or clinic that administered the test. At-home tests won’t be accepted.

    NASIG Onsite Attendees protocol:
      • If a conference attendee begins to show symptoms or contracts COVID while attending the 2022 NASIG conference in person, they will be asked to attend the conference virtually from their hotel room. The attendee will be refunded the difference between onsite and virtual registration and the attendee will be considered a virtual attendee from that point forward.

      • Additionally, attendees will be asked to email COVID@nasig.org if they test positive for COVID during the conference. This will allow NASIG organizers to notify the other attendees of a possible exposure, while maintaining confidentiality and not sharing any personal details.
      • As we are all aware by now, local requirements may differ from where you are and the situation may change with little notice. We may need to adjust our requirements based on local mandates. Please check this page and the hotel’s policies for changes. Thank you in advance for being flexible and being prepared ahead of time. If you have questions related to the NASIG COVID policies please contact covid@nasig.org
