- NISO: Managed by the Standards Committee, NASIG is the NISO Representative for North America for TC46. NASIG collaborates with NISO related to open infrastructure. NASIG members receive discounted or free NISO webinar benefits.
- Project COUNTER: NASIG supports COUNTER, which provides the latest trends regarding consistent, credible and comparable usage data from publishers and vendors.
- IFLA: The NASIG board liaises with the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions to nominate IFLA committee members. NASIG members receive discounted registration rates to attend IFLA WLIC (World Library and Information Congress).
- C4DISC: NASIG adopted the Coalition for Diversity & Inclusion in Scholarly Communications' (C4DISC) joint statement of principles, which led to the creation of NASIG’s Diversity and Inclusion Award, in partnership with Harrassowitz. NASIG’s Equity and Inclusion Committee continues to use C4DISC’s principles to influence activities and services by providing educational opportunities related to diversity and social justice.
